The drama ignites when the heirs to a fortune Gro (Dyrholm), Frederik (Bjørnlund) and Emil (Følsgaard) have their inheritance threatened by the sudden reappearance of their long lost sibling Signe, affectionately referred to as “Sunshine”, played by relative newcomer and rising star Marie Bach Hansen.
This 10-episode season will draw you into the complexities and family politics that unearth from the consuming yearn to possess the Grønnegaard mansion. Loyalty and greed become blurred as each sibling strives to claim their birth-rite; spiralling out of control with consequences that jeopardise the very foundations of their relationship.
