The James Plays come to London


After astounding the audiences in Edinburgh, Sofie Gråbøl’s English language stage debut comes to London. James III: The True Mirror, the third in a trilogy of plays about the James kings of Scotland, sees The Killing actress portray Queen Margaret of Denmark, the wife of King James III. Intelligent, charismatic and obsessed with bombastic schemes that Scotland cannot afford, James III and his countries future may be decided by his resourceful wife.

The James Plays won rave reviews at the Edinburgh International Festival with Gråbøl being a particular favourite amongst critics. The plays will be performed at the National Theatre, on London’s South Bank. The first two James plays have already begun their run at the theatre but if you wish to see Sofie Gråbøl in the flesh James III begins its run from 19th September and runs through to September 26.
