Following the $1billion success of Skyfall, British filmmaker Sam Mendes returns to the director’s chair with the latest James Bond action-thriller Spectre. The film launched its first teaser trailer over the weekend displaying the upcoming menace anticipated for its upcoming release.
The twenty-fourth film in the 007 series sees Daniel Craig reprise his role as the British special agent as he delves deep into his past in a bid to unveil a menacing corporation.
As well as Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris reprise their roles as MI6 associates whilst Oscar winner Christoph Waltz debuts in the franchise as German Bond villain Franz Oberhauser. However, a familiar Nordic face makes a reappearance as the heinous Mr. White.
Jesper Christensen returns in Spectre as the shifty enforcer of Bond’s opposing international criminal service. The Danish actor portrayed the antagonist character in previous 007 films Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008) and makes a shift from his dramatic role as Thomas Konrad in praised Danish series The Legacy. Christensen is also set to reprise his television role as the troubled character in a second series of the Nordic drama which is set to air later this year.
